Can a Civil War be cultural? Can a Cultural War be civil?

Look around you. To your left. To your right. Behind you. In front of you. Every one of those people in the grocery store, restaurant, church, city street and bus has an opinion. Some keep their opinions to themselves. Others shout it from the rooftops. Or Twitter and Facebook.

Some believe like the Bible says. Eye for an Eye and all of that. Others believe like the Bible says. Love thy neighbor and all of that.

It's not up to each one of us to kill our neighbor who disagrees with our Blue or Red tribe.

It's not up to each one of us to teach our "ignorant" neighbor who disagrees with our Blue or Red tribe.

It is up to us to listen to our ignorant and disagreeing neighbors and realize that the PURGE is only in the movies. It will never be real. We have to figure out a way to live amongst each other, until someone makes South Carolina and California sovereign countries and relocation efforts take place.

In other words, it ain't gonna happen.

What's the solution? I like screaming and name calling myself. I own it. I admit it. Because logic and reason will NEVER work. It's when screaming and name calling becomes pipe bombs and bullets. Which it has in many cases. What then?

It will be like this for the foreseeable future. Let that sink in.

Red vs Blue is the new White vs Black. The new Johnny Reb vs Yankee Jim. The new Giants vs Dodgers. The new Evil vs Good. You get the point.

This is the way.

So VOTE goddamn it. Like your life depended on it. Because it probably DOES!
